Why is the list so short

Because it is easy and tempting to invent meanings for the remaining colors—a beautiful caption under a swatch sells better than emptiness. This is exactly how trust in the library is destroyed: one invented meaning casts doubt on a hundred real ones. If a culture bearer indicates a meaning that is not here, it will appear with their name in the source.

How it works in the configurator

Felt items with a meaning have a caption next to the swatch, while the rest of the stock does not. The client sees the difference between 'we know' and 'we do not know', and this is more honest than a uniform row of equally confident captions.
